This enterprise value has the potential to be a valuable asset to a future buyer of your practice, but without careful planning, a practice owner could be leaving future potential dollars on the table when it comes time to sell.

The value of any business lies in the predictability of future pre-tax, after-expenses cash flow that a prospective buyer can expect to receive from the revenue of the practice. The greater the predictability and confidence in that cash flow, the higher the value a buyer will place on the practice.
