Building an intentional practice

In addition to providing great optometric care to your patient base, private practice is meant to serve you personally–on your terms–and provide the quality of life for you and your family that you desire. After all, it takes a lot of time, energy, effort, and sacrifice to build a business. As the driver of that business, you should be able to build it on your terms and with your definition of success.

Unfortunately, too many practice owners don’t focus on the very simple variables that will influence the amount of time that you spend in your practice, what you spend that time doing, and how to put “guardrails” around their business.
